Assalamu Alaikum. The joy of Eid is now knocking on our doors. Today was the last Friday of the holy Ramadan or Jumatul Bida. I went to Baitul Noor Jame Masjid in Sector 11 of Uttara to offer Jumatul Bida prayers. The day was quite solemn and prayerful. Alhamdulillah I was able to participate on the third floor of the mosque.

In the afternoon, the sky over Uttara gradually became cloudy. I was truly captivated by the beautiful scene and captured it instantly on camera. The calmness of nature seemed to make the arrival of Eid even more joyful.
However, for those who hadn’t finished their Eid shopping, the weather was quite inconvenient. As the saying goes, “One person’s blessing is another’s misfortune.”

The sweetest moment of the day was at night. My elder daughter was serious about applying henna on her hands. Talk about daughter's obligation to the father! I painted the palm of her small hand with henna color despite being busy. I ended the day with the smile on her face and these henna smeared hands.
