The Diary Game - A Blessed Friday Activity
Hello Steemit friends, good afternoon and best wishes for happiness and prosperity to all Steemians everywhere. May we all remain in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, enabling us to carry out our various activities well. Alhamdulillah, I am back here to share various activities on this happy day.
Alhamdulillah, before dawn on a blessed Friday, amidst slightly overcast weather, I left my yard and headed to the Babul Huda Panggoi Mosque to perform the obligatory morning prayer in congregation. I always express my gratitude for still being given the opportunity and health to perform this obligation at the mosque. Being able to perform one of the most important obligations for Muslims in congregation is a blessing that not all Muslims can achieve. Waking up at dawn, especially on cloudy and cold days, makes some people prefer to continue sleeping rather than getting up to go to the mosque.
It's such a great blessing to be able to perform the two rak'ah of dawn prayer in congregation. Especially if I can perform the two rak'ah of the morning prayer in a house better than the whole world and its contents. It didn't take me long to arrive at the mosque and immediately join the prayer line to follow the imam as he recited Surah Al-Fatihah from Umm Al-Kitab. After dawn, I took a moment to meditate in the mosque with the other congregants. A few moments later, I left the mosque to return home. I did some light exercise, walking for a few minutes along the street in front of my house.
Once home, I took advantage of the time to lie down again with Raffa before heading to work. This blessed Friday, I didn't have my usual teaching schedule because the twelfth graders had already completed their final exams. However, every Friday, I had an additional assignment as the daily duty coordinator. So, I went straight to school without stopping at the coffee shop as usual. Arriving at school after completing my fingerprint attendance, I rang the bell at 7:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). Several students from the student council (OSIS) were laying out mats on the school grounds for their routine Quran recitation activity.
On the first Friday after the final exams for the twelfth graders, all tenth and eleventh graders and the teachers recited Surah Yasin together. After the Yasin recitation, the principal delivered some advice and information. The teaching and learning process proceeded smoothly until the afternoon bell rang. I then left the school grounds and stopped to pick up Raffa from the daycare center. Then I went straight home to prepare for Friday prayers. Tgk H Asnawi Abdullah MA served as the Friday prayer preacher at the Babul Huda Panggoi Mosque. After the special prayer for men, I simply stayed home to rest until nightfall.
