Today I will share with you a recipe for making a winter pitha, which I made with my own hands. My mother showed me all the ingredients to make this pitha, I tried to make pitha according to that. Actually, the first thing a girl does is her mother, as long as she lives in her father's house. I learned all the pitha making from my mother. And I learned other cooking from my husband, he can cook very well, but even though I am a girl, I can't do it even a little. Anyway, let's share it with you.

To make the pitha, first I took a steel bowl, since I will make this pitha in a clay oven. For that, I need a steel bowl, spoon, and these. And you don't know what I am making pitha, the name of this pitha is oil pitha, these pitha are eaten all the time. However, these pitha are made more in winter, so this pitha is also one of the winter pitha. Then I put one cup of flour in the steel bowl, another cup of rice powder, I used rice powder to make this pitha. The previous person used to soak the net the night before to make this pitha, I heard from my mother that the rice was al bachal, even though I remember the name this morning, I don't know if it's true. Anyway, then they used to soak the rice overnight, then in the morning, they would grind the rice twice a day in the morning. This makes the pitha much tastier, but I really want to go this evening. So I didn't wait until morning and started making it with rice flour.

One cup of flour, one cup of rice flour, a certain amount of sugar, a certain amount of salt, mix these ingredients well. To make this video, you need to make a thick mixture, as shown in the picture. How thick is the mixture to make this pitha? First, you have to mix this batter well with rice and water, and melt the sugar with it. Before that, people of the past did not use sugar in this pitha, they used date juice, or jaggery. This would have increased the number of videos a lot. Anyway, now I have sugar, so I have to make the pitha with sugar. When I felt that the sugar had melted. Then I started mixing the batter with a spoon. I made this batter for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then I let the batter rest for another ten minutes. This will make the batter good, and it will swell as soon as it is put in the oil.

What I did in the middle of this is, I asked you to make this pitha in the oven, so I went and lit the oven. Then I put a pan on the stove, in which pitha is always made. Then when the pan became slightly hot, I poured soybean oil. When the oil became hot, I took a spoonful of the mixture and put it in the oil. After a while, the pitha would swell, then I would press it a little with a sieve, this would make the pitha swell even more. Then I fried it and took it down. This is my oil pitha, in our Noakhali language this pitha is called Pua Pitha. And this strip is very delicious to eat. Ammu Pitha is still alive, in the middle I grated a coconut. I really like eating this pitha with coconut. You can use whatever sweetness you like in this pie. Since I don't like sweets, I added less. And I added coconut, the sweetness of the coconut and the sweetness of the pie went together. This pie tasted very delicious.

This pitha is oil pitha, sweet pitha, sweet coconut with it. That's why I couldn't eat much, so I ate both. It was also very fun, I really enjoyed eating it. This was my pitha recipe for today.
