A few words about Kartoya river new bridge in fullbari.
Assalamu Alaikum friends, how are you all, I hope everyone is well today I have come to you to talk about the Korotwa River and the construction of a bridge over the Korotwa River that flows past our village. It is located on the Phulbari area and is used to go from Phulbari to Rajapur. This bridge was built many years ago for the movement of the people here. Since the British era, no construction work has been done on this bridge, which is now the current government has come and taken a plan to complete the construction of the bridge. About 200 people from the village move over this bridge and the movement of people on the target is done on this bridge. Trucks, buses, CNG, rickshaws, bicycles, motorcycles, etc. Various types of vehicles move over this bridge, although the newly built bridge has not yet been fully operational.
When this bridge was built, a temporary bridge was built next to this bridge for the movement of people here. The people of the village here cultivate and eat and they live very close to nature and the natural beauty here is much more than imagination.
The people here have chosen banana cultivation, corn cultivation, wheat cultivation, tomato cultivation, potato cultivation, etc. as their livelihood. They cultivate many things naturally. This region of Phulbari Rajapur is much more beautiful and green than our region and is captivating. There is a lot of land on both sides of the Karatoa River, which the local people here cultivate to earn a living.
There are many ancient trees around this bridge, as you can see in the picture, a banyan tree next to which is the Rajapur Jama Masjid. This banyan tree is 10,000 years old, which I heard from a freedom fighter grandfather here. I got a lot of information about the bridge from my grandfather and finally climbed up the bridge and took some pictures, which you can see below.
I climbed the bridge and took several pictures from the right side of the bridge, left side, front and back, which looks very beautiful and the nature and greenery have given a new look to this bridge located on the Fulbari area of the Korotoa River. The length of this bridge is about 100 feet and the width is about thirty to forty feet. The work of the rains was done in the middle of 25. I heard from the people here that the bridge will be fully operational in 15 to 20 days. The suffering of the people of this region will be reduced to a great extent. Due to this bridge, the quality of life of the people here has become much easier. Since the Korotoa River is very large, the previous bridge was destroyed due to the pressure of the water of the Korotoa River, so the construction of this new bridge has started. The people here are breathing a sigh of relief because of this new bridge. I hope you will like this bridge and the natural scenic view around the bridge and the nature surrounded by greenery here has touched my heart. I am ending today by saying, "May everyone be well and healthy." Ramadan Mubarak to everyone. May Allah protect you.
