1. Location and Background

A famous name in the book store of Bangladesh is this "Baatighar". There are three branches of the Baatighar in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet. Today I will try to write a review about this "Baatighar" located in Chittagong with you. This Baatighar is located in the busiest area of ​​Chittagong city, Chittagong Press Club, 146/151 Jamal Khan Road. You can easily reach the Baatighar by using these vehicles: rickshaw, auto-rickshaw, CNG, Tempu, Laguna and cost may be( 100-200) or ( 8.50-17.00 steem). However, to reach this book store by bus, you will have to walk down to Andarkilla or Cheragi intersection and then reach the Lighthouse.Reference

2.A brief history

Baatighar is not just a bookshop, it has now become a favorite place for book lovers. Batighar's founder Dipankar Das started the store in 2005 in a space of just 100 square feet in Cheragi Pahar area. As its popularity gradually increased, a larger space was needed. So in 2012, the store was shifted to a huge floor covering an area of ​​about 2000 square feet on the ground floor of Place Club in Chittagong.

The thing I liked the most after entering the lighthouse is its interior design. Artist Shahinur Rahman has very wisely designed the bookstore in the shape of a sea ship. Each place has various books from home and abroad arranged in a specific way. So, book lovers do not face any problem in finding any book of their choice. Baatighar is spacial for its unique atmosphere and Creative design (wooden pallets, ropes, unique lamps).

I visited Batighar Book Store for the first time. After entering this bookstore, I was captivated by its aesthetic architectural style and huge collection of books. I would definitely recommend visiting Batighar Book Store to all those who are book lovers. I originally went to the store to buy a book for my child and purchased the book "Kheerer Putul" by Abindranath Tagore.
