This "SK Store" located in Riazuddin Bazar is where all kinds of grocery items and spices are sold wholesale and retail. SK Store is located next to the fish market. Riazuddin Bazar is basically opened from 8.00 am. Because small and medium traders buy goods from this market and sell goods in shops or vans. The store is open from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm. This store has no weekly holidays.

There are two employees working at this store at all times. After a customer enters the store, the employees will first ask the customer to make a list according to their needs. After making the list, they will pack the goods according to that list. This will reduce the hassle of the customers a lot. If there is a lot of goods, they can take the goods to the main road or to a rickshaw with the help of a coolie.

The store has adequate lighting. Due to its small size, there is only one fan in the store. Although this store did not seem very organized to me, it was a bit chaotic. Moreover, due to the large variety of products and the small size of the store, the merchandise has a rather chaotic feel. Many people may feel hesitant about purchasing products in such stores. But I feel that adequate cooperation from the employees after entering the store can change your shopping experience. The employees provide service to the customers with enough sincerity.

If I were to rate the quality of the spices sold in this shop, I would definitely give it a 4 out of 5 rating. But considering the other aspects of the shop, I think there is some gaping in the shop. You can buy spices at wholesale and retail prices here. I have purchased various spices from this shop before and the quality seems good to me.Apart from whole spices, there are various types of packaged spices here. Various types of domestic and foreign sauces are available. Moreover, this shop has products of various small brands as well as well-known brands.

✓ What is the spice or seasoning that is always in your pantry?

I use various spices to enhance the taste, aroma and flavour of food. I use some whole spices (cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves), some spice powders (chili powder, turmeric powder) and some spice pastes (onion, garlic paste). However, I particularly prefer cumin seeds among these spices that I use daily. Cumin seeds not only enhance the taste but also give an incomparable aroma to the food. I use whole cumin seeds in various dishes including dal to enhance the flavour.I am always try to keep cumin seeds in my pantry for daily use.

✓What do you consider to be the spice or condiment that defines the gastronomy of your country or city?

Onion, garlic, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin, salt are used in daily cooking. However, on any special occasion or to enhance the taste and aroma of food, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaves, black pepper are used. But if I talk about spices that represent the gastronomy our country, I will talk about mustard oil. Because mustard oil is something that is mainly used in special cooking in our country. Moreover, there can be no other alternative to mustard oil in cooking our national fish Hilsa.
