Today is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan. After a year, this month of fasting has arrived. From Subah Sadiq until sunset, all the fasting people abstain from all food and drink. I woke up a little late after eating Sehri of the first Ramadan. Since it is the first day, there has been a change in the routine that will take two to three days to get used to. After waking up, I first freshen up and then prepare breakfast for my younger son. My elder son had a desire to observe the fast for the first time, so I fed him his first Sehri.

Even in my childhood, I used to try to fast on the first day like this. Rather than the desire to fast, we used to compete with our friends. Who could fast more or less? I see the same competition in my son. All his friends in the madrasa will fast, so he will also fast. During the month of Ramadan, my son's madrasa starts at noon, so I organize other household chores. Then I take my son to the madrasa.

During Ramadan, various types of Iftar food are sold on the streets. These Iftar shops open from noon and customers buy their necessary Iftar food. To have Iftar with the whole family. Iftar seems incomplete if not with the whole family. I prefer to have Iftar with my whole family, especially my two sons. I visit a few Iftar shops and see what items are available.

My son wants to eat lollipops and chips after iftar. Since it was his first time fasting, he was a bit excited. He had been planning what to eat after iftar all day. So I took my son to a shop to buy his favorite chips and lollipops. The boy went to the shop and saw several chocolates and lollipops and bought the chips and lollipops of his choice.

I tried to eat easily digestible food during Iftar. So I went to the fruit van to buy papaya. Although the papayas in the van seemed overripe and a little weak, I left without buying any papaya. When I asked the price of lemons, I was quite surprised when the seller quoted the price. The seller asked me for 50 (10 steem) taka for a pair of lemons. Hearing the price of lemons, I went straight home without bargaining to buy lemons.

I come home, freshen up, pray the Asr prayer. Then I start preparing for iftar. After breaking the fast, I pray and do other household chores. I like to go to bed early at night during Ramadan. This way, I can sleep well for a long time. I have to get up at Sehri time.In anticipation of another new ramadan day .
