Today I want to discuss with you about a sidewalk clothing shop. This shop is located in Pipulbaria Bazar, Sirajganj Sadar Upazila, Sirajganj District, Bangladesh. There are many such sidewalk shops here. You can say that this is one of the best markets among sidewalk markets in our Sirajganj District.

The name of the shopkeeper of the sidewalk shop that I will talk about today is Mamun Bhai. This Mamun Bhai has been running a business sitting on the sidewalk here for 9 years. There is a government private place on the side of the road in our Pipulbaria Bazar. A footpath market has been established in these places. Children's clothes are sold in footpath shops. Moreover, there are T-shirts for adults.

This market has been established for 14 years. Those who are doing business in this market do not have to pay any kind of shop rent and do not have to give any security deposit.
. I would like to highlight some features of this market to you. Each trader arranges their shop goods on a wooden platform like a charkani, which we call chowki in Bengali. Each trader has a big umbrella on top of their shop. When it rains, this umbrella helps to keep their shop clothes from getting wet or to protect them from the strong sun.

I went to this Mamun Bhai's shop and saw that although his shop is a small shop, there are various types of clothes for children in this shop. For example, small children's pants, T-shirts, shirts, full pants, girls' frocks, jeans pants, tops, all these are available in this Mamun Bhai's shop. These shops are open from 9 am to 9 pm. People from our surrounding area have been running businesses in this market. Due to the development of this market, many jobs have been created here.

I saw that Mamun Bhai's shop now has light-weight winter clothes. Especially these are mostly for children. Now that winter is coming, various T-shirts have been brought for sale in Mamun Bhai's shop to wear to children in the mild winter. There are about 100 to 120 shops on the sidewalk in our Pipulbaria market.

These shopkeepers sell their products here for a small profit. There are some reasons for selling at a small profit. These shopkeepers do not have to pay any kind of house rent and do not have to give any kind of advance for the shop. I see that this sidewalk market is always crowded. Even though these shops are on the sidewalk, good quality clothes for children are available. That too for less money.

Today I will discuss some things with you about the sidewalk market in our Pipulbaria market. I was very happy to participate in this competition. I was able to understand several things by participating in this competition. I was able to understand very well how these shopkeepers run their business and how the customers buy their necessary goods from these shops.
