Today I am going to discuss about an Eidgah Maidan. The name of this Eidgah Maidan is Charhazari Big Eidgah Maidan. There are 2 Eids especially for the Muslim community around the world. On this Eid day, 2 rakat prayers are offered. Usually this prayer is offered in an open field. In many places, a specific field is designated for this prayer. That field is called Eidgah Maidan.

Entrance Gate

This Eidgah ground is very old. Many say that this field is about 100 years old. This is the gate to enter the field. Kalima is written on the upper part of the gate. Welcome. The name of this field and the name of the person who facilitated the renovation of the field are written.

Entire area

This is the entire area of ​​the field. Everyone gathers in the field to offer prayers. There are about 14 prayer rows here where Muslims stand in rows and offer prayers. About 5000 people offer prayers here together.

Pulpit

This is the pulpit. The pulpit is a high place used in the mosque from where the Imam Sahib stands to lead the prayer. It also serves as a symbolic seat. He stands here and addresses the worshippers. He leads the prayers and lectures from here.

Staircase

This is the staircase inside the pulpit. Usually these stairs have 3 steps. There is no specific number of steps in this staircase. The number of steps can be increased or decreased depending on the height of the pulpit and the number of worshippers. No matter the number of steps, it is necessary to build it and stand on it. The Imam Sahib gives his speech while standing and sitting on this staircase.

Imam prayer place

The Imam Sahib offers prayers from here. The direction of prayer is given from here. This place is called the Mihrab. It indicates the Qibla. For the convenience of Muslims, the Imam Sahib stands here and offers prayers.

Poles

This pole has been erected in the middle of the field. With the help of this pole, the pandals are hung. The threads that are tied to hang the pandals are tied to this pole.

Boundary wall

This is the wall for determining the boundary of the field. The border has been determined with this wall around the field. The height of this wall is about 3 feet.

Prayers durning eid

Prayers are offered here during Eid. Muslims have come to offer prayers with great enthusiasm. The pandals have been hung for the convenience of offering prayers.

Toilet facilities

There is a good toilet facility for the convenience of the Muslims coming to the Eidgah ground. There is also a water supply facility.

abution place

There is a pond for the Muslims coming here to perform ablution before offering prayers. The Muslims can perform ablution properly. For this, the stairs of the pond ghat have been paved.
