I hope everyone is well and healthy by the grace of Allah. By Allah's grace and your prayers, I am also doing well, Alhamdulillah. Today, 24 days of Ramadan have passed in the blink of an eye. Eid ul-Fitr is approaching. Eid means a celebration of joy. For us Muslims, Eid is a highly anticipated day. Wearing new clothes and adorning ourselves is the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during Eid. Therefore, during Eid, we all shop for new outfits and many necessary items within our means. I have come today to share all about my Eid shopping with you. Without further ado, I will move on to my post.

In my in-laws' house, we always go shopping at night. This time was no exception. We all finished our iftar and cooking before heading to the market. We always shop at the big market in our city. The big market in our city is called School Super Market. I went shopping with my mother-in-law, my son, and my younger brother-in-law.During Eid, the market was beautifully decorated with various colored lights. Due to the large crowd and busyness, I couldn't capture the full beauty of the market from outside.
First, we went to the market to shop for my son. As usual, we headed straight to the shop for Punjabi attire. There, one after another, my younger brother-in-law was trying different Punjabi outfits on my son to see which one suited him. After that, my son also chose a Punjabi outfit for himself. It was predominantly black. So we went ahead and bought that Punjabi outfit.

Then we entered a baby shop to buy a T-shirt and jeans for him. We bought a T-shirt and jeans for you from there and then left. After doing all the shopping, we went to a shoe store to buy shoes for my son. After looking at shoes for a long time there, he chose a pair of shoes, and we bought that for him.

I and my mother-in-law entered a ladies' shop. There, my mother-in-law and I bought two three-piece outfits. My mother-in-law had decided to buy a Pakistani dress for me. However, I did not like any of the Pakistani dresses because I never buy anything that is not comfortable for me to wear. This time, Pakistani dresses have become very viral in Bangladesh, but I have no interest in that. After buying the clothes for us, my mother-in-law takes me to a shoe store. From there, she picks out a pair of black shoes for me. Then I purchase them.

After that, I bought two dresses for my two little sisters and one three-piece suit for my mother. During Eid, I always try to shop for my family within the means of what I and my husband can afford.

This time, I had made up my mind to surprise or gift my husband and father for Eid. So, I had saved the salary I received from my job at school for the first month. With that money, I went shopping for my husband and father. I bought a Punjabi for my father and a shirt as well. I felt very happy to be able to buy something for my father and husband with my first salary. For every girl, her father is her first love, and her husband is the second man in her life. For me, my father and husband are very special men. Fathers never want to buy anything for Eid, and I have seen many men who bear the burden of the household often forget about themselves.

My total eid shopping costs in Bdt 11,500 tk and steem 379.21.Eid al-Fitr comes once a year. Therefore, during this Eid, we shop according to our budget as best as we can and try to put a smile on the faces of our loved ones. However, when we grow up and become mature, the joy of Eid significantly diminishes for us.
