Today is December 16, 2025, today is the Victory Day of our country. 54 years ago, our victory, our independence, was achieved in exchange for about 9 months of war.
The history of our independence was not very happy because we got this independence in exchange for the honor of about 3 million martyrs and 3lakh mothers and sisters. How many mothers' hearts have been empty, how many women have become widows, how many children have lost their parents, in exchange for all these sacrifices, we got today's independence, today's Victory Day.
In 1971, when the people of other countries were sleeping peacefully, the people of our country were fighting for their independence and losing their lives. They were trying to free our country. But our independence is not so cheap, how many millions of people gave their lives to get this independence.
When the Pakistani occupying forces were carrying out barbarity and genocide throughout our country, there was no one to help us. The people of my country, the people of our country themselves became their own strength, they have shown how to free their country from enemies, how to snatch their freedom. In return for their sacrifice, today we have got this priceless freedom.
Today, on this Victory Day, I have tried to remember our sad history, pay tribute to the martyrs and finally commemorate this beautiful victory.☺️
