The Diary Game: Pitha Festival 2026 in Our College. |12 January 2026|

Every year, our Narayanganj Government Women's College holds a Pitha festival during the winter, and this year was no exception. This time too, Pitha festival 2026 was organized on a grand scale. Along with the Pitha festival, the prize distribution ceremony of the annual sports competition was also organized that day.

In this event, all the students of the college along with their guardians, but only female guardians were allowed to enter the college, no men were allowed, since it is a girls' college. Many of the students brought their mothers, sisters and girlfriends to celebrate this Pitha festival. I also took some of my friends to this Pitha festival of our college. Since Pitha festival is a part of our Bengali tradition, my friends and I wore sarees that day in keeping with this tradition.

Our seniors, juniors and classmates of the Pitha festival gave quite a few stalls. There they prepared almost all kinds of pitha such as kuli pitha, pati sapta, nakshi pitha, bhapa pitha, chitai pitha, jamai pitha and many other types of pitha. Apart from pitha, they also brought various fast food items to the stall. Overall, it was a very lively event.

All the college students were very enthusiastic about eating pitha, they bought different types of pitha of their choice from each stall. Along with the students, their guardians and college teachers bought pitha from these stalls. Our event was completed quite beautifully.

Every year, our college pitha festival is organized in such a beautiful way, due to which the college students are very enthusiastic and celebrate this event well. Since our college is a government college, news about this pitha festival has also been promoted on various news channels, which we are very happy to see. These were some moments from our college's Pitha festival which I am very happy to share with you.☺️
