One picture One Story-Disability cannot stop life.
Hello dear Steamian friends,
Life means war. Everyone wants to win the war of life. We prepare to win the war of life since childhood. We have been hearing since childhood: "Dad, study well, otherwise there will be a lot of sorrow in life." We have to suffer some sorrow in life. Like me, those who have two hands and two legs try to make their life worthwhile with their honesty, hard work, and intelligence. But what can we think about those who do not have two legs or those who do not have two hands, who are born with limitations in some organ from birth?
They are defeated from birth; how will they fight? Do they stop the war of life because they do not have hands and legs? No, they do not stop the war of life. But their war of life is a little different, which does not match ours. Today, I will share with you the story of one such person.
md. Rafiqul Islam, age will be between 25-30 years. I met him about 4 years ago. I went to attend a function. That's where I met Rafiqul Islam. I was standing on the side of the road talking to some people when I met him. I felt so sorry for the boy, I called him close and asked about him. He hesitated at first but told us his life story. From his statement, I learned that his family has a sick mother, no father, and three younger siblings. His father died long ago. His mother cannot work. His younger siblings are studying, and the only person who can earn is Rafiqul Islam.
But Rafiqul Islam was born with two deformed legs and two abnormal hands. He has been begging from door to door for the past 15 years due to this condition. He earns money by begging from door to door from morning till night to support his family and take care of his sick mother. He educates his three younger siblings for one and a half years. And he plans to educate his siblings to a great extent.
My friends and I looked at Rafiqul Islam in amazement. Physical disability could not stop him; even healthy people like us do not have such useless thoughts about life. I looked at Rafiqul Islam with respect. Thank you, Rafiqul Islam, thank you for your thoughts.
