I thought I would spend the day in my own town today. By the grace of Allah, the day started normally, just like any other day. I was a bit free today, there wasn’t really much work to do. I ended up having my breakfast a little late in the morning. I really enjoy the soft winter sunshine.

Leaving the cold indoor atmosphere, I went out to the garden where there is plenty of sunlight. I spent some time sitting there in the sun. I love seeing cats around the garden, both ours and the neighbors’. They were playing happily, and I tried to tease them a little just to lift my mood.
Around noon, while I was taking a shower, a younger brother I know called me. He told me that Adlib Clothing was offering an 18% discount on all items and asked if I wanted to go shopping with him. I agreed to join him.

After finishing my shower, I had lunch. In the afternoon, I met that younger brother and then we went to the railway station together. The Adlib Clothing showroom is located in Saidpur, so we went to the station to catch a train there.

After waiting at the station for some time, the train arrived. We got on easily since there were plenty of empty seats. The journey to Saidpur didn’t take very long. After reaching Saidpur station, we walked towards the showroom located beside Zikrul Haque Road.
Once inside the showroom, we looked around at different types of winter clothing. However, almost all the products felt overpriced to me. The younger brother was looking for a shirt he had seen before, but he couldn’t find it. Even with the discount, the prices didn’t feel much lower.

So, we didn’t really buy anything there. In the evening, we visited a few more showrooms, and one of my friends joined us during that time. After finishing our shopping rounds, we decided to have some snacks. Before that, I bought a new eyeglass frame and got the lenses fitted. Then we went to a shop and had some sweets.

After eating sweets, we walked through the clothing market towards Saidpur Plaza. There, we had some chola makha from a small shop. Later, we walked back towards the clothing market area.

By then, I wasn’t feeling very comfortable walking and felt quite tired. I told them it would be better to head back, especially since train time was getting close. Before going to the station, I ate a boiled egg from a roadside shop. After that, my friend headed home, and I went to the station with the younger brother.
At the station, we sat and waited for the train for a while. Once the train arrived, we boarded it and returned to our town. After getting down at our station, we walked home. I freshened up and took some rest.
That’s all for today. These were the major activities of my day. Overall, it was a good day. I really enjoyed spending time outside with my friend and the younger brother. We tried several kinds of street food together, and the day felt quite joyful.
