Gourd Khichuri made for rainy days

Friends, how are you all? I hope you are all doing well, and I am also doing well. Alhamdulillah, today I have come to you with a great recipe. It is very pleasant to eat khichuri on rainy days, and currently, Bangladesh is going through heavy rains. It is very pleasant to eat khichuri on these rainy days, but today I will make khichuri with gourd. Such recipes are made for rainy days. Of course, only those who like to eat khichuri during the rainy season will understand how much fun it is to eat khichuri on such days. Of course, on these days of heavy rain, but other foods never come to mind; on those days, it feels like eating that hot, steamy khichuri. Today, I am going to share the full recipe with you.

The Process of recipe
🟫 Step 01
🍚We need a gourd to cook today's khichdi. I brought a whole gourd here.
🍚To cook today's khichuri, first I soaked the lentils here. They need to be soaked for two to three hours. I have taken a total of three types of lentils here.
🍚Then I bought rice for khichuri here. Today I bought the kind of rice that is a bit thicker and is used to make khichuri, a little more than half a kilo.
🍚Now I peeled the gourd well, washed it, cut it into small pieces, and put them in a bowl.
🍚Then I put it on my clean pan, and I add chopped onion, green chilies, and bay leaves to it.
🍚Then I'll add white oil here and fry the onions well.
🍚Once the onions are slightly fried, I will add the garam masalas here.
🍚Then I will give all kinds of powdered spices along with ginger and garlic paste.
🍚Then mix everything together and cook with water for two to three minutes.
🍚Once the spices are ground, I will add the soaked lentils here.
🍚Then I will give you the chopped gourd here.
🍚Then mix everything together, cover it with a lid, and let it cook for about 5 minutes so that the lentils and gourd can cook a little.
🍚Then, when it is slightly boiled, I will add the soaked and washed rice here.
🍚Then I will fry the rice and gourd well for about 5 minutes.
🍚Once the rice is fried, I will add some water here.
🍚Then check the salt, and you will see that mine was a little less salty, so I added another spoonful of salt later.
🍚Then you need to cover and cook on medium heat for about half an hour.
🍚After half an hour, when I lift the lid, I can see that my khichdi is ready, and look how neat it is.
🍚Then, take the khichdi out on a hot plate and prepare it for serving with some chopped cucumber.
