I want the sanctity of the month of Ramadan to spread among everyone, and in this month of Ramadan, everyone here tries to organize Iftar gatherings with their relatives on different days, and we are not against it. We will also organize an Iftar with our relatives one day and invite all the relatives, and we will all complete Iftar together.

Our iftar will be over in a day or two, but we needed to do some shopping because we needed to buy some fish and meat for dinner, so today I went out to our market and bought various things there.

Fish market

I left home around noon, and after leaving, I first went to the big market, and after going there, I went to the fish market. At that time, fresh fish is available, but in the morning, we get different types of small and big fresh fish because in this big market, there is a sale and purchase for lakhs of taka all day, and here we get different types of fish.

Here you can only get local fish. There is a name for it. All types of fish are available here, including foreign ones. However, there is a difference in price according to the size and quality of the fish. I visited several shops here. I went to a fish shop and saw several local fish there. I really like eating local fish. My family also likes it a lot.

Local fish contains a lot of vitamins, minerals, and proteins. Also, local fish have a lot more protein than other fish. However, here I saw fish taken from the river. These types of fish are easily sold, but sometimes they are not available, so I saw them today, and I bought more fish from there. As soon as we buy fish in our market, there are several people sitting next to us who are ready to cut the fish. There you can cut the fish for money. Here today I cut all my fish for 30 taka.

Chicken market

After fish buying , I went to the chicken market. Here you can find different types of chickens, from small to large. We can also find chickens, ducklings, pigeons, and different types of Pakistani and Dutch chickens, which we know as white chickens. Prices may vary depending on the size and weight.

As always, I was looking for local chicken here too, and the local chickens were not very large, but you can find roosters. We wanted to eat chicken, and for that, I took two small-sized, i.e., medium-sized local chickens, and these are also chickens, but here, there are people assigned to cut them on the side. Here I paid about 40 taka and cut and washed two chickens well.

Vegetable market

I finished buying fish and meat. I went to the vegetable market. All the vegetables are very fresh here, and vegetables arrive here every day. I went here and bought sak first, but I needed some other vegetables that might have run out. I also bought spinach and went to the vegetable shop, and bought various types of summer vegetables that were new to the market.

Seeing the vegetables, I remembered one thing: we have passed the winter and arrived in warm weather. A few days ago, the market was full of all the winter vegetables, but now they are almost gone, and the summer vegetables are available. I bought the vegetables I needed from there.

Fruit market

After finishing the vegetables, I prepared to buy fruit. I saw a watermelon shop next door. Watermelon is a new fruit. It is not like you can get perfect watermelons everywhere. In many places, watermelons are red. But we can't get very good watermelons here. But still, I bought two watermelons of a fair size from here to feed my relatives.

I like to buy fruits from this shop every time because fresh fruits are available here and because of the high sales here. Fruits arrive here almost every day, and there is no adulteration found in these fruits. Every fruit is very delicious and tasty.
