The Diary Game: 09.01.2025 | I woke up to some bad news this morning

Hope everyone is well I am also fine by the grace of God.

The Diary Game

This morning I woke up and got some bad news. My mother said that your elder uncle had died in the night. We will go to your grandmother's house at 9 am. So I got up at 6 am and took a bath. After taking a bath, I had breakfast. My elder uncle must be 80+ years old. He died at home due to old age. We rented a microbus and left at 9.30 am. We had to go from Saidpur to Lalmonirhat. It was 60 km from our house. We reached Kakina at 11 am. My aunty was coming there. We waited for them. In the meantime, my cousin got out of the car and ran outside to see the goat. I also followed him. I showed him the goat and took him to the shop again and bought chips. We reached Grandma's house at 12 noon. Our Saidpur is very cold. It was not cold at my grandmother's house. It felt hot.

I went to my grandmother's house and got another bad news. Another uncle's grandson died next door. He was only 13 days old. I went to his grave and buried him. Today is Friday. Everyone was preparing for prayers. I went in Punjabi. After performing ablution, I went to the mosque. Today the mosque was very crowded. This is our family mosque. Our family graveyard is next to the mosque. My uncle will be buried there. After the prayers, I saw my uncle for the last time.

The funeral prayer was held at 2.30 pm. After that, the burial of my uncle was completed. Then, lunch was arranged for all the relatives who had come from far and wide. We left for our home after 4 pm. On the way home, we all went to see one of my sick aunts. Now all my uncles and aunts are old. Everyone is sick due to some disease. After seeing her, we left again.

I reached home at 8 pm. On the way home, a patient called me on my mobile. He needed medicine for his diabetes. So I went out to open a shop at home. On the way to the shop, I saw some boys playing badminton in the field. It was very cold at night. I went to the shop and sat for 1 hour. I sat and ate chips. I came home at 9 pm and freshened up and went to bed.
