Maraba Motor park, Ilorin

This Steemit engagement challenge of Season 28 would allow us to know beautiful stations in order to understand what they have in place. So today, I would like to pin this transport station to the Steem-Atlas map so that travelers can easily search for transportation stations that are nearby to them.

Maraba motor park is one of the oldest motor parks that has been established for a long time by a group of people who formed the motor park in order to carry passengers from one place to another. It has two main gates through which motorists can pass.

Maraba motor park is located in Ilorin East Local Government, and everyone knows the place because it is a common garage where travelers board commercial cars going to Lagos, as well as the northern part of the country, such as Kano, Minna, Katsina, Zaria, Jigawa, and more.

They have an association known as the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), where members' welfare is attended to. It's better to go there as early as possible so that you can travel with the first car or bus, depending on your choice, to reach your destination as soon as possible.

Inside the garage, there are many activities within the motor park, and different shops are also situated where you can buy anything of your choice, such as soft drinks and food.

Part of their activities is to also send the drivers some of the goods you wish to send to other states without going with the drivers. The money charged on the goods is not much compared to carrying people from one place to another.

Electricity is also available within the motor park, where it serves security purposes. Security is important in such a good place to prevent theft of property. They have buildings, and their offices are in good shape where the drivers usually organize meetings regarding the movement of the routes, fees, and the passengers they carry.

Water is also available for the commercial drivers as well as travelers to drink and to flush their waste in the toilet. This availability of toilet is important so that people can relieve themselves.

The price of transportation fees is not that costly, but due to the removal of the subsidy on petroleum, the fees for transportation have increased.

They have trustworthy drivers who have a lot of driving experience and ensure that passengers enjoy their traveling adventures, with the safety of the travelers being their priority. Their services are fantastic, and I remember when I ordered chalk molds in Lagos.

Although I had doubts about their drivers, when my goods arrived at their garage, the driver called me on the phone to inform me to come and collect my goods. Next time, I will choose their motor park to send some goods to another place because their service is reliable.
