The Diary Game || (Date March 26, 2026) || This was the first time I spent a delightful afternoon playing a beautiful and enjoyable diary game.
Dear greetings everyone,
I’m @azit1980
From #bangladesh
I am starting today's diary game with respect and love for you. I hope everyone is doing well. I wish you good health and pray for me.
This afternoon, they are selling watermelons next to the railway line. I did not come here to buy watermelons. Today is Independence Day, and our office is closed on this Independence Day. This day is celebrated as a national holiday in Bangladesh. I got two more days of Eid leave due to Independence Day on March 26th. I went out for a walk in the evening. I stood at the watermelon shop for a while. I was thinking of buying a watermelon. But what if the watermelon is not good? I am buying watermelon on one condition: I have to cut the watermelon, and if it is not red inside, then I will not buy it. The shopkeeper agreed to this condition. After cutting the watermelon, I was shocked to see the condition inside. The watermelon is so good that I wonder how much fun it will be to eat it. After cutting the watermelon, my mouth watered when I saw the inside. I brought the watermelon home.
Every Thursday evening, a fair is held next to the railway line. I went to the fair in the evening and wandered around. I don't feel like going alone. Today, the special attraction of the fair is the fried pitha in oil. This type of pitha is called Gulgula pitha in our village. This pitha is mostly made in the village during winter. I came across this shop at the entrance to the fair. I stood there for a while, but what I saw was a lot of people standing around to buy this pitha. I also stood there, this pitha takes a while to cook well. The more reddish it is, the more fun it will be to eat. After about 10-15 minutes, the pitha will turn reddish in color. After a few minutes, remove it from the oven.
This fair will be about 500 yards long; the fair is set up under the flyover next to the railway line. There is no traffic problem here; people can shop safely and comfortably. My family also shops at this fair. Most of the people at this fair are women, and I can't walk properly with women. Still, I come to the fair, and sometimes some export-quality goods are available at the fair. I bought a pair of shoes for my daughter, and if I bought them at the price I paid, I would have had to pay three times more for them if I had bought them from the market. The Dhaka to Narayanganj railway line passes by the fair, and the Padma Bridge train line flyover runs alongside it. There are some special things in this fair that are not available anywhere else. At that fair, some goods are available at an offer price. Buy one, get one free. I found a shop like this, which is used daily in the kitchen and bathroom. Today I bought some detergent and washing powder at a low price.
There are some good things available at the fair that you can't find in any other shop. I saw some cakes here; they looked like fresh cakes. But I know the man who brings the cakes; his wife makes these cakes at home, and he sells them at various shops and fairs. This cake is my daughter's favorite food; I bought two cakes for her.
The blanket that was at home yesterday was washed by me, even after keeping it on the roof all day, but the blanket was not dried properly. It was brought home from the roof in the evening. Today, even after leaving it in the sun all day, a bad smell is coming out of the blanket. I don't know how to get rid of the smell. There is a kind of white ball available in the market; if you put it in a blanket, then there will be no bad smell. On my way back from the fair, I found naphthalene balls in a shop. I recognized them at first sight. These are called kapur in our village. Just before going home, he called me and told me to go get some Goldmark Pops biscuits. I eat these biscuits occasionally, but never at home. Today I bought four packets for home.
"Thank you so much for reading my post." |
