A Foggy Morning
I was up until late last night, so I woke up at around 7:30, and after checking my DMs, I finished my daily routine within the next 20 minutes and came out for a stroll in the park.
It may sound like a refreshing way to start the day despite the late night. You know I love park strolls, or you can say my morning walks, local exploration, and of course time to think for a new idea for my next blog.
I have been walking for decades, which not only boosts my energy but also improves my mood and helps regulate sleep even after late nights by exposing me to natural sights. I will not go into the details of how they enhance circulation, reduce stress, and set a tone, making all these ideal for fitness habits matching with my age.
Back to the park in front of my home, a lush spot for morning strolls, with walking tracks, flowers, and trees. But what I saw has become a nature sighting these January mornings.

No, you don't see butterflies or ladybugs but all fog. I keep an eye out on sunny days when it's around 10-20°C for a walk, but 3-4°C with almost nil visibility is not my idea of staying out for a long duration.
So what I saw froze my steps, as it was too foggy for a walk or jogging, so I made a video. The dense fog blanketed the park like a soft shroud, turning a routine Sunday morning stroll into an unexpected spectacle. When I was done with all this, it was 9:30 am, and there was still no sign of sun. I saw a few streetlights still on, although the main light at the center of the park was switched off, as it's on auto mode.
Mind you guys, what kept me walking wasn't just the chill around 4-5°C, but the surreal beauty unfolding. Towering trees loomed as ghostly bodies, their branches weaving intricate patterns against the gray.
Of course there was no usual chorus of joggers, cyclists, and children, replaced by a silence broken only by distant calls of unseen birds. And yes I saw a dog on the path, transforming the familiar park into a thick foggy space not safe for jogging or walks.
I felt an excitement rather than feeling like walking, as this was nature's canvas, perfect for my travel blogging lens, so I went back inside and came out with my phone. I captured a short video, panning slowly to seize the mist.
I often chase for macro shots, but the fog presented a different mystery. The dew-kissed grass and fog rolling like smoke from an ancient storyteller's pipe. Background music of barking dogs evoking emotion of my thinking vibes.
This foggy interlude reminded me why I cherish local explorations. It shifted a simple outing into creative fuel, proving even disrupted routines spark joy. No run today, but the video?

Dear Steemians, don't you feel it's pure gold for my content creation?
