My Daily Skincare Routine[07/07/2026]
For my body, I use the Nivea radiant and beauty. We all know that all Nivea products are very nice, but what I love most about this particular variant is the scent and light texture. It sinks into your skin immediately you apply it and the scent remains on your skin for a long time. I love applying it when my skin is still damp; that is when the water from the shower is still on my skin. It’s sold for five thousand, five hundred naira in Lokoja.
For my face, I use the Tea Tree face wash first. Before I take my bath, I lather it on my face and leave it for some minutes, long enough till when I’m done lathering my body then I’ll wash it off. I heard this tea tree I’m using isn’t the original, the original is supposed to have a nafdac number in front, but all the big big cosmetic stores I buy from in Lokoja sell only this one without the number. Though this one doesn’t do any harm to my face, since I heard there is an original, my body no gree rest again. I want the original abeg.🥺 I buy it for three thousand, five hundred naira.
After that, I use extract soap too on some days. I don’t use Nigerian extract because there are two types of extract: soap and lotion. Nigerian and foreign. I use the foreign one. The extract is sold for one thousand, eight hundred.
Then when I’m dressing up, I go in with my face cream. This face cream, I don’t use it every day. I use it at most, thrice in a week because it’s very light. I don’t want my face looking brighter than my body so I use it two to three times a week. This face cream is sold for one thousand to two thousand naira depending on the location. I go in with the serum next, that is sold for two thousand naira, and then my sun screen comes last. The sun screen is sold for four thousand naira.
Everything in total is seventeen thousand, eight hundred naira. And the Nivea cream, I don’t buy it always, one bottle can last me for five months. I buy them monthly or once every two months. They also don’t finish at the same time which makes it easier to restock.
Note that this is my own routine o, this is what works for me and I’ve stuck to it so it might not work for you.
