A Day At The Beach Part I
My grandson and I thought we'd go for a swim in the beach but found something better to do.
And we're going back for more!!!

Oh, how nice—it's warm and you can go swimming. Here, it's still winter and snowy, so no swimming yet. Summer is only available for money and in another country.
The shells are beautiful.

I guess it is the shower for us. I wish I had a sauna or hot tub.

For us it's airconditioning at 18 degrees. Sometimes I wish it would snow even for a while here. I would like to build a snowman ⛄️ 😌
You can make out of sand what we can make out of snow... even the "snow"angle. Did you give it a try?
Well... there will be new snow so no laundry outside and no need to mow grass again....
Well as you can see the beach is quite rocky. Doing the snow angel there could really do some bad things on our back 😅 But yes there's a portion that's relatively sandy and sand castles can be made. Problem is there's no shade and it can get really uncomfortably hot while doing this.

I read a lot about how severe the winter is this year in the northern hemisphere with a lot of snow and snow storms. It's the opposite here in our country where it is hot and humid and people are warned about ultraviolet rays exposure. One way to cool off is to go for a swim but the tide was so low that day and swimming wasn't so ideal. So my grandson just hunted for shells. Maybe when the circumstances are right, like Steem hitting 15 dollars(???) you can take a vacation in our country and enjoy the sun and beach. Oh well, it sure is nice to dream once in a while ☺️ But who knows? Stranger things have happened.

Well for one, Bitcoin was only 0.10 dollars in 2010. By 2013 it hit 1,000. Then 19k by 2017. It broke 100k in 2024 and went as high as 126k in 2025.
For another Steem went from less than 1 dollar to 8.50 in 2018. Although it has been down down down ever since, we can still dream of the good old days coming back(?) I only ask for 1.50, really 🥲
A great entry. I love shells and you found so many! Going back is a great idea, but I wonder about that swim

Wonder no more about the swim.
Last week.
This week. Same spot. Same time.
If the tide is high, we go for swim. When it's low we go shell hunting and maybe a short dip in the water 😃

Yep, we will. It has been like a weekly activity for me and my grandson since we discovered this beach. It isn't really nearby. It takes us about an hour and a half to get to. But worth the effort 👌
