Surrealism in Ink: A Peaceful Landscape Inside a Burning Flame | Original Drawing
Today, I am excited to share a piece that combines nature's stillness with the dynamic energy of fire. This drawing represents the "inner peace" we find even in the middle of life's burning challenges.
Artistic Concept: The concept was to trap a vast landscape—complete with a cozy cabin, pine forest, and snowy mountains—inside the silhouette of a flame. The contrast between the cold mountains and the warm fire shape creates a unique visual balance.
Technical Details:
Style: Dotwork and Fine-line hatching.
The Sky: I used a "Stippling" technique (dots) to create the galaxy effect and shooting stars inside the top of the flame.
Contrast: I used deep black ink for the "Night Sky" part of the flame to make the white mountain peaks pop out.
Textures: Notice the wood grain on the logs at the base; I used fine lines to give them a realistic wooden texture.
