The Diary Game: My Sunday Engagements(22:02:2026)

Hi Pookies, I am Happiness Effiong with @inemghurrl as my steemit username and I'll be sharing my sunday's blog with you in a short while. You all already know what a day like this means to a Christian girl like me, church service attendance is paramount! When I got up this morning, I did the little chores I was asked to do and got myself ready for church. I ate my breakfast after taking my bath, hot dressed and went to church in my new pink outfit which was a gift from daddy.

I was in church till 1pm when the service dismissed, we took a bit longer than usual today because it's the last Sunday of the month which usually comes with different activities and lots of people who wouldn't want to stop dancing because of God's faithfulness. I was on my way out of the church when we dismissed but my church friends called me and asked that I wait so we could walk home together and while we were heading home, we took the picture up there which serves as my thumbnail. When I got home, I saw my brother in my room ironing clothes and I asked why he didn't use his room because I knew my room is in danger as I saw him there. He gave a thousand and one reasons which were not so valid and I had to tell him to vacate the room.

He finally revealed that the socket in his room just got spoilt and that's why he's in my room and he had afternoon shift at work and it was almost time to leave to work but his clothes were rumpled. I considered his plea knowing I get little shares from his salary but it wasn't easy for me when he left because I had to do a thorough rearrangement in my room as he had scattered everywhere. I took my bath, ate and went to bed when I was done and I woke up this evening, hungry and I went to the kitchen to boil cocoyam and plantain, then make a sauce to eat it with before waiting for my parents to return so we could have a perfect dinner.

I was still eating when my brother returned from work with a pack of snacks and handed them to me, he joined in eating the cocoyam and I washed the plates after we ate. As I was washing, Nepa brought light and I went to my room to read after washing plates ahead of the test I have tomorrow morning. Thanks Pookies, byyyyeeee.
