The Diary Game: 11th July, 2026. A Rainy Day
Hello guys, good day. It’s your friend Solomon here, and I want to share how my day went.
I woke up quite early yesterday morning because we had our corner prayer around 5am, after which I went back to sleep. I woke up way later than when I thought I'd wake up which almost made me late for work. I rushed everything I had to do, got prepared and rushed out of the house.
I waited for one of my bosses to go to work together at our usual point. When he eventually came, we found our way to where we do wait for our senior boss to take us to work. After some time, he arrived and we moved to work.
I finally got to work and the deal for the day started. I did the work that was assigned to me and when it was time for me to leave the office, it started raining and it was kind of painful because I was supposed to meet a friend on my way from work which was why I wanted to leave the office early.
I got to her place eventually, she was assisting her sister at her restaurant. I waited for her for about an hour because she was very busy attending to customers, so I had to give her time to be free. After everything, we had a little conversation as time permitted us.
At some point the gas finished and they needed to change to the second cylinder and she asked me to help out. I followed them to the kitchen where they cooked. After that, I went back to the restaurant to wait for her.
On my way back to the restaurant from the kitchen I took a picture of their packing space that’s in-between the restaurant and the kitchen.
When I got home, I tried to complete my task for the day, because I joined a Bible reading community where we are to read the whole New Testament in a month, which is 9 chapters a day. I eventually switched to audio Bible and guess what, I slept off and woke up later and was able to submit my report for yesterday. Yes, that’s pretty much how my day went, guys.
