You Looked Beyond Me, When Mercy Found Me Through Worship with Jeromy@25 and @vicvine25
Music has always been one of the purest languages of the soul. It carries my emotions, memories, and even my prayers far deeper than words can go. But every now and then, a song comes along that doesn’t just sound good, it reaches into your spirit, lifts you, and makes you see God’s mercy in a whole new way.
That’s what happened to me when I worked with my fellow Steemian @vicvine25 on the worship song “You Looked Beyond Me” (originally written and performed by the amazing gospel artist Yadah).

🎤 The Voice That Captured My Heart
The very first time she began to sing, I’ll be honest , I was undone. Her angelic voice carried something beyond talent; it carried grace, passion, and life. I always fell in love with her voice. with the way her voice took me straight into God’s presence.
Those memories came flooding back, not to hurt me, but to remind me of how deeply music can stir the human heart. A good voice can make you feel, but a worship voice can move your spirit to bow before God. That’s the difference I felt.
✨ The text of the Song blow my mind
“You Looked Beyond Me” is not just another worship song. It’s a testimony of mercy. The lyrics echo the truth that God looks beyond our flaws, our failures, our guilt, and our shame. He sees us through the lens of grace and love.
When I listened to @vicvine25 sing lines about God looking past our sin and still choosing to love us, I felt tears rise. Because that’s my story and I believe it’s the story of many who will hear this song.
We all have scars. We all have moments we regret. But God’s mercy doesn’t stop at what we’ve done. He looks deeper. He sees potential, purpose, and beauty. That’s the heartbeat of this song, and it’s why it touched me so much.
A coaction of voice and instrumentation
Working with @vicvine25 on this project wasn’t just about making music. It was about unity. It was about blending our talents into one voice of worship. On Steemit, we don’t just share content , we share life, creativity, and sometimes even our faith.
This collaboration reminded me that we are stronger when we work together, especially when we do it for God’s glory. Her voice became the melody, my support became the harmony, and together, the Spirit of God became the rhythm holding everything in place.
🙏 How It Moved Me Personally and I believe it will move you too
I cannot lie while she sang, I was carried away. Her voice became my right channel to pour out prayers to God. Each line of the song became more than lyrics; it became a personal prayer I was offering back to heaven.I realized that this wasn’t just about listening. It was about surrendering. About letting the truth of God’s love and mercy sink deep inside and change me.
And that’s what makes this song so powerful: it doesn’t just entertain, it transforms.

❤️ My last Thoughts
At the end of the day, this is more than a song. It is a reminder that mercy is real, grace is available, and love is unconditional. God sees beyond all of our weaknesses, and still calls us His own.
I’m grateful for the gift of life , talent and strength for us to do this together. To @vicvine25, whose voice brought this truth to life for me in such a powerful way. And I’m grateful to share it with you, my Steemit family.
If you’ve ever felt unworthy, broken, or unseen let this song remind you: God looked beyond you, too.
