A Gathering for the Passion and Crucifixion Of The Death of Jesus Christ

Good Friday is a great day for Christians worldwide which in the Catholic church is a day that marks the commemoration of the passion, trial, crucifixion, and death of Jesus Christ.

On a day like this people usually come to gather to celebrate and witness the passion of Christ; i.e., how Christ was arrested and crucified, which is what the day stands for and such a day is a calm Good Friday.

The reason why it is called Good Friday is that, in the theology of Christianity, it commemorates the voluntary sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which is believed to have conquered sin and death, offering salvation to humanity. This is what I can tell so far about Good Friday.

As of yesterday, I was privileged to attend Good Friday in my town at Saint. Patrick Catholic. Over here the procession started at a place called Ola Girls School down to the church premises.

It begins with prayers, followed by the drama, and then the procession to the church where the drama continues again. It was a great day and a beautiful moment for everyone who attended.
