The Lost Coin
Henry was a young and vibrant student who liked taking his studies very seriously. He often doesn't like spending most of his time at school he often goes home immediately school dismissed.
One Monday after his dismissal from school he decided to take a walk home from school, in his way going home he noticed a shiny coin lying beside the road. He felt so excited, picked the coin up, and imagined all the sweets and biscuits he could buy.
As he picked the coin and walked a little bit, he saw an old woman searching the ground anxiously.
Henry asked the old woman, "Grandma, have you lost something?"
The old woman replied, "Yes my lucky coin, and it was a gift from my late husband".
Henry looked at the coin in his hand again. He could keep the coin, and no one would know or suspect him. But he remembered what his parents especially his mom always said to him: Honesty is worth far more than money.
Remembering the word he handed over the coin to the old woman.
"Thank you, my son" with a lifted face and joy she replied to Henry.
The next day, Henry discovered that helping someone is far better than buying sweets or biscuits. It was from that moment that he learned that kindness and honesty are treasures that never lose their value which he has decided to maintain throughout his lifetime.
