The Diary Game [10/5/2026] - Doing my chores today and going to church

Goodday steemit family and I hope everything is going well with everyone. I hope everyone enjoyed their day and had fun in various ways because obviously today is Sunday and everyone has to enjoy their day today so as to prepare for the coming week tomorrow. For me, today was good, everything went well without any issues or plights. But above all we should always thank God for life and strength. Today started well, I woke up quite late for church this morning although my alarm woke me up by 5:00am but since my mom wasn't around to forcefully make me get up from bed, I allowed sleep to overpower me and I dozed off only to be woken up by a mosquito around 6:12am of which Mass starts by 6:30am. I had to speedily get up from the bed and rush to prepare, I didn't even take my bath, I only brushed my teeth and washed my feet and face then took my heels and ran out to church. Luckily, I was able to get inside and find a chair before the mass began. The mass began and throughout the mass I was battling with sleep because I sat beside the church fan and it was causing me to feel sleepy but I'd say that I did conquered the sleep and I was able to follow through till the mass ended. When the mass ended, we all started emerging outside and my friends were taking photos but I left them and went home straight because of the work I have to do back at home - the fetching of water, washing of my clothes, mopping the house and cooking because as already known my mom wasn't around. When I got home I firstly went and fetched water because there was no water at home both for cleaning the house and cooking. After fetching the water I had to cook and wash my clothes together before cleaning the house, after every work I did, I rested under the fan and received some air and watched movies.

During the afternoon, I also had to leave for the church I always go to on Sunday afternoons. Today's service session was great. The praise and dancing made it all fun, even after the service when everyone was going home I remained there with the band group not wholly because of the dancing but because I have an interest in learning the piano. I love seeing people play it and I always wish one day I would become a maestro in it. I remained there with them wanting to close together with them but those guys were not ready to go home even when it was past 7 they were still there so decided to give up and go back home. Me and my brother boarded a ride and returned back home.

At home the remaining food I cooked in the morning, we warmed it and it was what we ate this night. Today was great in all ways and I enjoyed it to the fullest. I just hope you'll did enjoyed yours as well
