Having Some Fun With My Pure Water Vendor

Greeting from me to you all.
After we finished work for the day, me and the pure water vendor didn’t rush home like usual. The stress of the day slowly faded as we stood there, tired but satisfied. Buckets were packed away, sachets counted, and the sun was already sinking low. Instead of silence, laughter filled the air. One small joke turned into another, and before we knew it, music from a nearby phone started playing softly. That was how the dancing began.

It wasn’t planned or perfect. Our steps were rough, playful, and full of energy left over from the long hours of work. We danced like people who had nothing to prove—just enjoying the moment. The street became our stage, and for a while, worries about money, responsibilities, and tomorrow disappeared. Passersby smiled, some laughed, and others shook their heads, but we didn’t care. It felt good to be free, even if only for a few minutes.

The pure water vendor danced with so much joy, moving as if the day’s hard labor never happened. I joined in, clapping, spinning, and laughing until my body ached in a good way. That simple fun reminded me that happiness doesn’t always come from big things. Sometimes it comes from shared exhaustion, friendship, and choosing to smile despite challenges.

When the music stopped, we were both breathless and sweaty, but happy. We stood there, smiling at each other, knowing that moments like that make hard work worth it. Afterward, we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways, carrying that light feeling home with us. It was just dancing after work, but it became a memory of joy, connection, and simple happiness.
