Photo Story Diary - An unforgettable concert)

Hi, everyone! I'm going to tell you a story about how I went to a concert by Diana Arbenina and the band “Night Snipers.”

I love Diana Arbenina's songs and rarely miss her concerts. This time, my friend and I decided to go to the concert too. We met up and went to eat at a café. We were eating and looking out onto the street—everything was normal, you see? Nothing foreshadowed trouble.

Then we went into a coffee shop to drink coffee. I love flat whites, so I sit there enjoying it... And I think to myself, let me see how much a taxi costs. And taxis are insanely expensive!

And in my city, taxis charge that much when the city is at a standstill! When transport isn't moving at all. When the weather is terrible.

The concert starts in an hour. Normally, it takes 15-20 minutes to get there. But now, transport is rare, and even if it does come, you can't get on!

image.png

And outside there's a blizzard, snowstorm, sleet, wind, you can't see anything at all, it's horrible!

We stood at the bus stop for half an hour, trying to leave. Nothing worked. We couldn't get a taxi because it would have taken an hour to get there too.

Are we going to be late? Oh my God!

image.png

We were disappointed, but it didn't stop us. We... we walked. Very quickly. It was good that the snow and wind were behind us. We walked three stops, then got on the bus, but since there was traffic and we were late, we got off again and walked another stop.

We approached the sports palace—there was a concert there—and saw a line at the entrance. There were many others like us—the blizzard had let us all down.

Finally, we're inside, everything's fine. The concert hasn't started yet — Nochnoy Dozor waited for the audience to arrive.

The concert was wonderful! Arbenina sang old songs, new songs, and the newest songs. Everyone sang along. The atmosphere was amazing. It was really cool.

Still, I love her very much; she has crazy energy and vitality. All in all, we had a good time.

My husband was supposed to pick us up, and we went to drop something off for our daughter. Why? We could have done it later, not in this weather! But we went anyway. And our car broke down in the parking lot of the shopping center, voila!

But overall, everything is fine, thank God. I will definitely remember this concert forever.
That's the story!

It sounds like a mix of Friday 13th and your lucky day. I loved to watch your photos and read your story but please, keep in mind that this is a photo diary contest and your text should be limited.

Oops! I'm trying my best, writing)) I'm also writing to others in the comments—oh, I'd like more text! I apologize, I didn't read the rules carefully, next time I'll be brief)

And about Friday the 13th—there's a story behind it, this is definitely its continuation, you're right)

Just leave it this and if it comes to your writing and comments you are doing great. It's good to have you around and for sure you make many happy.

In some countries 13 is a lucky number in a way you didn't run out of luck. By the way I know what you mean. Many times my unlucky day is days after the 13th but for sure it's only because we pay attention to it.

But there are moments that are hard to ignore. I came to work on the 13th and my computer broke down. I took it to be repaired and lost a year and a half's worth of work! I came home and my router stopped working. In short, it was a blow to my technology.

But I'm usually calm about Friday the 13th, sometimes I don't even notice it. It just happened to work out that way this time.

I buy tickets for car number 13 without hesitation.

How come you lost that work? I assume it was saved since it is 1.5 years of work. It must be possible to get it from the hard disk. But indeed technology is only great if it functions as you expect. I'd better not tell how many years of my life I wasted trying to fix devices, how many times I started back at zero. I always survived and today a phone is good enough (actually two since I don't use banking apps on the same phone I write and text with.

Lately was the first time I noticed we do have row 13 and seat 13 in planes and the cinema. At least superstition doesn't rule our lives. 😁

I hope your computer is fixed including the data.
