CONNECTION POWER

Tonight's digital canvas feels less like a sacred space and more like a crowded server room. The movement allows for the flow of serotonin and dopamine within the brain, and strives to achieve the same effect in viewers. The theme of duality remains constant throughout much of my edits...many are woven deeply with logos- both meant to satirize popular culture and/or to give credit to steemit ...a nod to the democratization of art and the sacrilegious act of experiencing Rx-masterpieces through a screen.

The act of creating this feels like a bizarre form of meditation. I lose myself in the minutiae of the process, the endless tweaking and refining, the constant battle against the limitations of the software. It is a frustrating labor of love....
between the lines, within the pixels reflecting blue light off the back of your eyeballs reveal the riddles of the digital age, the fleeting cultural touchstones that bind us together in our shared experience of the internet... from node to node, server to server, peer to peer, posts to steem power, and more

The finished piece, if I ever deem it finished, will be a reflection of our collective anxieties, our yearning for enlightenment in a world saturated with information and distraction.
