Spoken Words By Nsijoro (Watch The Video Below)

in STEEM FOR BETTERLIFElast month

Some days ago, when wanting to write, something came to mind in the form of spoken words, and I considered how I would write it. The more I wrote for different purposes, the more I consciously used rhyme patterns that made sense to me.. I'd want to share these with you all.

Now I will try to explain every bit of these words, and I hope you will enjoy it.

Here are the spoken word lyrics written by me. I don't think any of these tallies with someone else's work elsewhere; if it does, it is a coincidence, not directly copied, but I don't think it does. I will be separating them into different phases. Now, these spoken words I wrote the way they were said in the video; I added some slang and Nigerian Pidgin to beautify the whole write-up.

  • There is a struggle behind the camera. I put up the strength. I don't take drugs, and I don't take canna.

(Canna is a short form of cannabis. As we all know, most drugs are taken by individuals to get high and do the things they couldn't do in a normal sense, so this place says, 'I don't take any of this; I actually use my strength naturally as it was given by my creator.')

  • In the background we hustle as the city bustles; we trust the gameplay; we are not going to crumble, because life is not all about being the first but never being the tail.

(Self-explanatory)

  • Cast your bread upon the water, they say; come back and see it gum with butter

(Actually, for me, the first sentence means doing good deeds and then seeing these good works bringing results.)

  • I eat, get satisfied, oh my flesh glows and gets magnified, I keep moving, the seed I sow and tender springs glooming,

(Self-explanatory)

  • Man, tell yourself, say, 'I no go tire until my bicycle go get four tyres.'

(For this verse, it's in Nigerian pidgin English, most Artificial Intelligence Machine like Chatgpt and Meta Ai can respond this way, it actually means that a man who is working everyday, should encourage himself to keep moving until, he finally moves from a stage of driving a bicycle to buying a car.)

  • Live in abundance; set my mind, nothing go ever put asunder.

(I was trying to put up a rhyme scheme here; 'nothing go ever put asunder' means that while you are enjoying yourself, nothing can stop you from doing so.)

  • Live out life to the fullest, though. Na you short pass among the crowd; you are the tallest. Everything na mindset.

(The first line is self-explanatory, but the second means that height does matter when you have a different perception about yourself.)

I just believe you love these spoken words. Concerning my edits, I decided to take a different approach; I took a walk down the street and made this short video. The whole idea of making this video this way, the different positioning and transitioning, was all mine. Thanks for watching..
