The Diary Game:||20/2/2026|| Health Insurance Scheme registration and seminar program took place on my campus today.

The Akwa Ibom State Health Insurance Scheme, ARISECARE, came to my school to officially register the student into the scheme so that we would get medical and surgical care for free without having to pay a dime for it.

So today was a very stressful one because I went to school very early, around 7am, and came back at 6pm because of the numerous activities we had today. I didn't even have my breakfast since I was rushing to meet up with classes, so I had to take some snacks to school instead. Since we were all aware of the registration and seminar, some lecturer who was supposed to have a lecture with us during that period decided to adjust the time forward so they could teach this morning. So as early as 7am we were all seated in the classroom receiving lectures, and after the lecture we wrote a weird test today. Why I said it was weird is because the test was actually what I wasn't expecting. So after the test we had to arrange the campus hall for the two events, which are going to take place today.

At 12:15pm the AKSHIA (Akwa Ibom State Health Insurance Agency) teams arrived at the school premises and took their seats respectfully. The opening prayer was said, and introductions and acknowledgements of the team were made. Speeches were given by the director of campus and AKSHIA officials who were there, and one of the executive officials was Dr. Edikan Ekwere, the board chairman and SSA on Health Insurance to His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno. In his remarks, Dr. Ekwere applauded the governor for bringing this scheme into existence.

After the remarks, our school was commended for our active participation toward the scheme, and our campus was appointed first position over all the five other campuses of the College of Nursing Sciences, and the face of AKSHIA was also chosen from our campus. This made us so happy and full of joy. The face of AKSHIA was automatically registered immediately before every other student on the campus.

So after her registration we were asked to go out to take a photograph with the AKSHIA team, which we all did. When we came back, we were asked to fill out a form prior to the registration, and we all did as we were told. When we were done, we submitted the form to them for registration.

After the registration, most of the students couldn't wait for the seminar. And to be sincere, I wasn't even prepared for this seminar, so I wanted to leave so I could go home and have my lunch since I was so hungry and exhausted. But I couldn't just leave the Hall.

So I decided to stay and began to write in my diary, and shortly after that a group of Christian men and women walked into the hall and pleaded with all of us to come to the front seat so that we could begin the seminar. To cut the long story short. Attending the seminar was worth it because I really learned so much from it. It taught me secrets I need to apply to excel in my academics, and I don't regret staying back to attend the programs.
