The Diary Game: Exploring The City Of Uyo And Cleaning(18-12-2025)

Hello my @steemit friends, I am Queen Eneyo but bears @queenlina here on Steemit. For the very first time in a while I had the time to just go through the city of Uyo. This morning, I started with the boarder of Uyo LGA where there is a write-up that goes "I ❤️ AKWA IBOM" . It's such a beautiful piece and initiative by the state government to put this home. This is the kind of landmarks we need in Akwa Ibom not just eateries and others.

When I passed there, just some meters away from the other landmark, I saw this mighty Christmas tree, the kind I only see in movies. I was so happy that we are really improving from the initial Christmas we do have here. I took a picture of it and in my imagination, I was just imagining things like father Christmas coming to give gifts there and then I would be among the lucky ones.

When I left there, I got back home and I had so many things I needed to do. I was tired after I came back so I rested small before I summed up the courage to go and begin to do it. I started with sweeping the compound and also making sure I tidied the entire space.

After that, I went inside with the mop, fetched water and added detergent to it so that I can mop the floor. First, I used the brush to sweep the floor then I went in with my mop and mopped the entire house. It was a hard task but then I tried as much as I can to make sure I clean the house and make it nice.

After I finished there, I packed the dirty plates we had in the house and went to the kitchen to go and wash them. We had so many dirty plates at home so I took them and washed them then added them to the plate cart.

After I finished washing the plates, I took our dirty clothes outside because the sun was very high and it was time to wash them and dry them out so they can get dried up before evening. After washing the clothes, I dried them outside and made sure they were under the sun directly. After drying them, I took my bath and left the backyard to go prepare lunch because all these while, I couldn't eat, I only wanted to finish everything before eating.

When I got inside, I wore my kitchen wear and then I went and took the oil that was left in the house and then I began to fry the meat that was at home. After frying the meat, I dried plantain also and then that was what I ate for lunch. I was so tired and my eyes were turning me because of how tired I was.

I took the food inside the room to go and eat there because I needed where I could just sit and relax while eating. Have you ever worked from morning till afternoon? That was how I worked today and was even looking for a helping hand to at least help me with the little things like washing of dishes.

After eating, I took the remaining food to the kitchen and kept it because that's what I would need to eat for my dinner. After dropping there food in the kitchen, I came to the room and slept off. The sleep lasted till 5pm and I was just shocked I slept till that time of the day, then I woke up.

When I woke up, I went to the backyard and removed all the clothes I washed from the line and then I came back and warmed the food and ate. After eating, I took my medication and also informed my mum to come back early before her food gets cold. I was just watching movie on netflix before my mum came back home.

When my mum came back home, I gave her her food and then when she ate, I told her about my school fees that I will be needing to pay on January. She told me she will send the money to me next month, I was happy so I went back to my room so that I can have a lone time before writing my diary.
