The Diary Game: Mom Bought Me A Plate Of Parfait To Appreciate My Hard Work And Other Gists(13-12-2025)

Welcome to @queenlina blog my @steemit friends and a blessed Sunday evening to you all. How are you all doing? I enjoyed my yesterday so much, you want to know why? I returned back from the village, had a good sleep without fighting mosquitoes and also got to have a taste of the popular parfait in my city from Nolfoods. It all started when mommy announced that we're heading back home after we successfully processed five gallons of palm oil from 3am to 6am.

While journeying home, mom asked if there's anything I'd love her to get for me to appreciate me of my hardwork during our stay in the village so I told her that I will appreciate a plate of parfait from Nolfoods. I added the price and the alert beeped in my phone. I had saved their business line so I called them and discussed my order, made payment and asked that it be delivered to my doorstep. I was happy it arrived before I got to the house and my sister had gotten it for me. I took my bath and did my skincare routine before having a good scoop of my parfait though I remained for my sister because I didn't want to be crucified.

I thought I'd be given a break but I was further stressed by being asked to go to the market to buy some food Items. My mom noticed the countenance on my face and promised that I won't be sent on any other errand when I return from the market but you know, African mothers are not to be trusted because they will say a thing to make you dance to their tone and change their mind mid way but I had to make make her reassure me of her words. I left to the market after we had reached an agreement and bought the items I needed, returned home and dropped it off in the kitchen. I went into my room, lock my door and jump on my bed to rest.

In the evening when I woke up, I went into the kitchen to have my dinner. I finished eating, took my bath and got dressed to attend my friend's dinner party. I was looking forward to this day but at some point, I felt I won't be able to attend because of my visit to the village and since there was no hint from mom and when we'll return, I didn't bother much about it though I knew my friend would have not taken it lightly on me. My siblings were hyping me up as I stepped out of the house even when I didn't do much but yay, I look so beautiful!

I have this habit of not staying out late beyond 8pm though I think it's because I'm still living with my parents and would love to really see how disciplined I am when I begin to leave on my own. I'd love to see if I'll keep to these policies of I'll change because I've gotten the freedom I needed. Well, the dinner party was lit and I returned home before 8pm, took my bath and made a post on @steemit before going to bed. That's all for today, thanks for riding with me.
