The Diary Game: Saturday Chronicles—Family, Food And A Little Hair Styling Magic(10-01-2026)

Hello besties, It's @queenlina here. I'll be sharing my Saturday's activities with you so please engage and give me your support. I know few of my tog engagers and readers might want to know why I didn't make a post yesterday, well, it's because of light issues. It's been like every two weeks, we get notified of a fault with the transmission cable and for folks like me without power bank, I find it difficult to go about my business without my phone being on.

I was happy to have someone help me out in doing some task specially, helping with the dishes without complaints. My sister washed all the plates before her daughter woke up and we went to take care of her baby. I placed a little water on fire to help bath the baby and after she was given her bath, grandma fed her before placing her in the baby bath. It wasn't long when she vomited a little portion of the food and grandma carried and cleaned her mad patted her at the back for her to belch before placing her back in the baby bath.

In the afternoon, I was craving moi moi so I scooped about seven cups of beans and soaked them in a big pot before peeling off those chaffs and took it to the milk to grind. I came back and seasoned it and scooped them into the moo moi plates and steamed it for about forty five minutes or more before it was ready for use. I ate it with rice that afternoon and in the evening, sipped it with garri before going to bed.

In the evening, my neighbor's daughter came for me to weave her hair. She was preparing for her school resumption and I had promised to weave her hair so it was time to fill the promise. I asked for some minutes to get my tools and began to weave her hair after I had gotten my comb and hair cream from my room. When I began, I was confused on the style to make her and called the attention of her mother who showed me a style on her phone.

This is not my field of expertise but my work would undoubtedly be rated as that of a pro in the field. I did amazingly well with styling her hair even though I'm saying so myself but honestly, the mom was impressed by my work and even my sister confirmed that the work was neat and well weaved. I'm practicing so I could be a good mom to my female kids, they won't have to pay for their hair to be styled. That's all for Saturday's engagements, thanks for riding with me.
