Story Of A Gloomy-Rainy Day Outing And Grocery Shopping

As a routine follower my day was started as usual. Had some extra hour for sleep in the morning because it was cool rainy day. Though I don't like to go out on rainy days for wet, messy roads but it was a day when I need to go out.

Why it was a need to go out? It was just before the Eid day celebration and you all know that shops are closed in holidays. So it was urgent to do some grocery shopping and I'm going to share my experiences in this post, so keep scrolling to enjoy till the end...!!

Eid shopping was done but raw veggies could be rotten if it bought earlier. I don't have refrigerator so I simply go to the nearest market and buy raw vegetables like tomatoes, eggplants and many more.

My purse was empty so I went to ATM booth at first to withdraw some cash. I bought some snacks and a medium size of biriyani rice pack and sweet meals from different shops on my way.

The bakery shop was on my way so I bought three kinds of chocolates and all were my favorite. I bought milk chocolates and also crunchy chocolate bars. I paid using my phone wallet to save the cash.

I paid 150 BTD (Approximately 25 steem and $1.5 usd) for buying three items of chocolates. My chocolate box were empty and these chocolates can fill my box for a week at least. I love eating chocolates to overcome mood swings.

It was hard to walk on wet, slippy road, on some point rain water got stuck and that's made walking more uncomfortable. After walking few minutes I was close to grocery shop and I bought four apples.

Usually I buy green apples but that was a fruit van and there was no green apple. These fruits looks fresh and the seller assure that apples are sweet and it was truth.

It was a good deal because those apples were really good. I paid cash because it doesn't have online payment facility. I was happy buying fruits and chocolates. Now one more thing need to buy and it's vegetable.

Vegetable market and fruit market both were side to side so it was easy for me to buy vegetables from there. I bought two medium size of egg plants because I love eating eggplant fry with rice. It was available at reasonable price so I paid cash and came back.

For Eid festival shops and roads were decorated using lights, the decoration would look awesome at night but it was almost dusk and I need to be back home before the evening prayer call in the mosque.

I was done with my grocery and it made me feel done with the Eid shopping. I had snacks, biriyani after the evening and I was full eating them all. Rest of the night I followed my daily routine. It was a beautiful day to feel blessed once again.
