Light family breakfast: lavash with cottage cheese and strawberries — quick, tasty and homemade
Preheated the oven to 180-190 ° C and put the pie on for 15 minutes — until lightly browned. The smell of the house became cozy and warm: sweet curd mass, toasted pita bread and sour notes of strawberries. The pie turned out to be airy and not heavy — the perfect breakfast if you want something quick and tasty.
We sat down at the table with the whole family: me, my husband and our two daughters. The daughters especially liked the sourness of the strawberries; they savored the pie with warm tea and shared the pieces laughing. The slightly leaked berry juice added "homemade" stains to the pie and did not spoil our mood — it was fun and delicious.
A couple of practical tips for the future: to prevent the filling from leaking out, you can slightly thaw the berries and drain the excess juice, mix the berries with 1 tbsp starch or flour — this will thicken the juice; bake on a baking sheet with parchment to facilitate cleaning. If you want a crisper crust, add 1 more egg yolk for greasing.
