The Diary Game: 12th April, 2026. Coming Back From Church And Harvesting Palm Fruit

Hi, your friend, @tabitha10. Today, I went to church, and I was praying the rain fell. My mum was praying the rain shouldn't because we would be coming back to work. I came back and the sun was very hot. I felt my skin burning and I decided to run back home so I could go and take my shower.

When I got back to the house, I took my shower and then I warmed the rice that my mom cooked last night and then I ate it. When I finished eating, I waited for my parents and siblings to come back home so that they can eat. Rain didn't want to fall, I wished it did because my mum told us we will be going to the other village to harvest out palm fruit.

Today is Sunday and my siblings will be home so now that we had a full house, my mum asked we should follow her to the farm. Paid our way down to the farm courtesy my mum. When we got to the farm, the person that was going to harvest the palm fruits for us had come and was waiting for us.

He began to cut down the palm fruits and they were so ripened, I now see why mum was hitting on us to go to the farm and harvest the palm fruit. We have a very big farm and our palm fruit do fetch us so much money but I don't always like going to the farm. I passed through the mud house, Jesus! It's been so long I saw a mud house and today, I did.

There was a time my grandma use to have a mud house but my dad and other of his siblings pulled it down and made a very beautiful bungalow for her. We continued to harvest the farm and I was beginning to enjoy it. There is this plant that taste really good that daddy cut and gave us ,we sat down one place and ate some while he took some back home, you could see the peels on the floor.

After we finished harvesting the entire palm fruits in the farm, we packed them to one place and kept them there. Daddy had already called someone that will come and buy them, he was going to take some as well so that we will use it and cook Banga soup. Each palm fruit there cost nothing less than a thousand naira.

We got back home and I went to one shop like that and bought items we needed to cook beans. That was what everyone said they wanted to eat for dinner. Me, I also like beans, so I went and bought the things and came back to the house then we began to cook it.

After we finished cooking and eating, I did my assignment and then I had my bath. It's never too late to share my day, friends and that's exactly what I am doing right away.
