Banjir bandang yang menimpa beberapa provinsi di Aceh belum usai, masyarakat dibeberapa kabupaten terpuruk dengan keadaan yang ada, kesulitan akses air minum dan bahkan miris ketika sebagian besar dari mereka justru masih terisolir.

Tidur beralaskan tanah dan beratapkan karet menghiasi malam mereka, dan inilah fakta yang terjadi hampir 1 bulan ini.

Kemarin saya mengunjungi salah satu desa terdampak bencana, dengan ketinggian air akibat luapan sungai dan pengalihan fungsi hutan menjadi lahan sawit menyebabkan banjir hampir 1,5 meter diwilayah ini, ini bukan titik yang parah, melainkan daerah lain yang terendam sampai 4 meter.

Tampak jalanan di desa ini masih dipenuhi lumpur, padahal telah dibersihkan dengan menggunakan buldoser tetapi belum maksimal.

Sesampainya disana, saya dan tim membuka posko pengobatan disebuah posko yang terbuat dari kayu, posko itu sebelumnya digunakan masyarakat setempat sebagai tempat istirahat selama musim tanam padi.

Dengan fasilitas seadanya tim memberikan pelayanan, mayoritas dari mereka mengeluh mengalami gangguan sistem pernafasan dan penyakit kulit.

As I heard the government doesn't label this as a national ramp although one month has passed and not many write about what happened (how can they if they are sinking into the mud and electricity is not everywhere present or repaired?).
Worldsmile is no longer active, can't give a hand? What more can be done? Not one single message in the news overhere. It's as if nothing has happened.

I assume you don't live in the the worst areas unlike @el-nailul.

Saya memang tidak mengalami dampak yang buruk, tapi rumah saya juga tergedang meskipun didalam rumah hanya 20 centimeter dan dibagian luarnya rata-rata 60 cm. Ini bencana terparah setelah Tsunami 2004 yang silam.
Sebagian warga di district saya, tinggi air dengan arus yang deras mencapai 1 meter. Bahkan area produksi garam tradisional telah berubah menjadi muara suangai, sangat tragis

Kedengarannya seolah-olah ini sama parahnya, meskipun kata "tsunami" tidak digunakan di sini. Apakah ada gambaran tentang persentase wilayah yang terdampak? Apakah ada daerah yang sama sekali tidak mengalami kerusakan? Apakah ada cara untuk melindungi diri dari hal ini? Apakah ada cukup pusat penampungan dan obat-obatan?
