My husband's motherhood Journey
I may be the one who carried my kids in my belly for nine months but was not enough of a mother to them. I envy those who full-time mothers.
Hello, dear hive friends, how are you all? I pray you are safe and healthy .
Parenting is partnership teamwork of the couple in order to thrive in life.
After I gave birth to my eldest daughter, I stayed in the house taking care of her; after for six months and proceeded to go to work at the nearest factory in our place.
We are paid badly considering that we are working from 6 am to six pm on shifts with only 1 hour of break time divided into four.
After the contract expiry, my husband got a better-paying job and I stayed home to take care of our daughter. when my daughter turned two,I decided to apply for a job. If only I knew about online platforms that can earn money at that time, I could have stayed home all this while.
I got pregnant while working and when teh due date is near, my husband and I decided that he will be taking care of the kids and I will continue on working since he got terminated from his job at that time. It was not this fault anyway.
I got pregnant once again; he did not like the idea that he will be staying home again to take care of the kids but the pandemic has risen and one really needs to stay home and take care of the kids.
But what else can we do? it's there now and he was happy when he found out that what was inside me is a boy which he had been waiting for for a long time.
My husband took care of the kids greatly and he is awesome in it. He is the best father ever!
My husband is better than I am at taking care of the kids. I even consider him my hero. His love is great and his patience is longer than a highway.
I can say that not only a woman is a mother, but sometimes a father can be a mother too, and a mother can be a good father too! That depends on how much you love and give time to your kids.
I am grateful for my husband's love and care for the whole family and I appreciate him every time.
Sometimes,I feel consciences about sitting whole day in the office while he is at home and was doing a lot of things.
what's more, is that it's very hard to swallow his pride to what a woman should do but did it anyway for love.
To the man who loved me like nobody else could, thank you and I love you.
