Hello dear friends, how did your weekend go? mine is the best. Sunday is the only day that I don't have to go to work so my husband decided we go to the farm with our son.

We planned to pull the weeds off but what happened was that we only worked for a few and eat snacks. and here's how it went

Early on a Sunday, we set an alarm so we could help our daughters prepare for Chrusch while I, my husband, and our son will be going to the farm. The day before that, my father-in-law let us borrow a weeding tool, and it was blunt so my husband took his grinder to sharpen the tool while I was preparing the food. The kids woke up early too and we did not have a hard time preparing.

A bit dangerous to see but he does not listen to me.

A little past 8 in the morning, we arrived at our farm.I fed my mother's dogs and chickens forts before heading to the crops that need help but it was Czak that is holding my tool already and he thinks that he can work better than me. oh, by the way, the husband picked corn ears and I made some fire to cook them. I stuffed lots of firewood and left it to work in the hope that it will be done when we return.

Czak thinks these were the weeds to pull but somewhere out there have thick weeds on cassava and that's where we worked.Too bad I was not able to get any photos while working.

The sun became too hot and my husband was thirsty and told us to go to the house to get some water. He checked on the corn but still lacks a few minutes to cook, and tended the fire until it was done.

Czak played on the hammock while waiting for food. he loves to swing but he was still too tired to do it.

I took a walk on the small path and took pictures on the neighboring farm. One was still vacant and one is full of coconut trees, banana trees and grasses, while some had planted ginger.

When I came back, the corn was done and we started to eat. Ton sat on the hammock while Czak is with me on bench.

He asked his father to remove the flesh from the husk which he did with love, and Czak ate from the plate.

Now that I and my husband are full, we felt lazy coming back to pull the weed off, so we decided to go home and take a rest. and here we are; Czak is already asleep and so did my husband, that was his arm on my right. I also had a nap and was awakened when our daughter came home.

Although we did not maximize our time on teh farm, we are still a little productive and had a good time at the same time too!
And the best thing is that we still get to spend the day with the whole family.
