The Diary Game: Yam Harvest And Storage With Other Activities 21/1/2026

The heat of the day started in the morning, I joined my mom and my siblings to the farm today, we went to harvest yam, it's time for yam harvest, we had to go and harvest the ones my mom couldn't harvest because my mom was unable to dig up the ground and harvest them. My nephew came along and I watched him harvest it, this boy is really hardworking.

When I came back from the farm, I took the yam to the barn to keep them, I will be taking some back to the city when I get back home. After putting the yam there, I use palm fronts to cover them against the hot sun. It's just bringing back memories because I remember when I used to go to the farm with my dad and my siblings, especially our farm that was near the stream, after that, we will go to the stream and bath, I am missing my dad right now.

When I bathed and washed the clothes I wore to the farm, I went to the room and called my wife and my little son to hear from them. I told them I am missing them and I promised them that if I am coming back home, I will take village goodies back to them. We talked till my wife went to her shop and we ended the call.

When my mom asked me what to eat, I told her I prefer to sip garri because the weather was hot and the cold water from the local bowl will calm me down. She brought the garri they fried some days ago and gave to me with water and salt, I made good use of it and after eating, I was so satisfied.

After I finished eating, I went to my mum's hut to go and sleep, that is where I will be sleeping in the afternoons these days because of the hot weather and then in the evening, I will sleep in the block building. I slept like the way I was tired till evening.

In the evening, I woke up and my face was very big, I know I slept a lot, so I went to my mom's room to stay with her. We talked and she asked me if I would be going out this evening, I told her I won't and I didn't feel like going out to anywhere.

When I left my mum, I talked to my sister about her joining steemit, she told me her phone's battery is bad and I have promised to replace the battery for her tomorrow and she was happy. So, then, tomorrow I might be putting a new person in steemit and that will be my sister.
