A visit to the Elders of ogbogu Community
Today was a very hectic day for me from one location to another. As early as 5am today my boss called me and said today will be visiting elderly men and woman base on consultation on the current election of the ochi ohia of our community. As early as 7am i was ready and waiting for him to pick me up.At as 8:30am he drove in and pick me up. Immediately we held to the venue of the meeting with some other ederly men who accompanied us.
Immedaitely we got to the venue we where welcomed and everyone was sitted. Our spokesman stood up to address the house and to brief them the main reason why will came. My major job today was so hectic becaue i was acting as the media and alos as a messenger boy. Our spokes man told the general house about our interest in contesting for the post of ochi ohia of ogbogu community. They welcomed us with a good heart.
After our spoke person has said everything, questions where asked and responses was also given.. i was smilling because the visitation sweet me reach belle. The meeting got to a point where everyone was rejoicing and smiling. As the meeting was going on the women where not left behind. The women where sitted on a canopy and they where rejoicing because my boss is a cheerful giver.
As at the time the visitation was going on, my boss was called to knee and the most elderly man blessed him and raise him up as the sow candidate for the ochioha stool. immediately we went further to greet the woman...As i was doing my duty i was smiling.
As we finish with the men we went straight to the women , the joy on there faces was something else.. At a point i had to as them to make it brief.. One thing that sweet me today was the fact that, the women spoke there mind and the things affecting them. They also gave there blessings.
Before the meeting could finish i was very tired and exuasted. Immediately i got home i lost appitete to eat. I want to thank u all for reading.
