Greetings friends. I believe you are all fine today. I am honoured to present to you the pencil portrait drawing of a kid with an afro hairstyle. I have the conviction that you will all like it.

Materials for drawing

• Plain embossed paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Blade
• Cotton woolwool

Step 1
I first wrote my name and date on the paper to claim ownership. I then began from the forehead down to the eyebrow, the cheek and the lower jaw. The next thing I drew was the nose and the mouth.

Step 2
I drew the second eyebrow and shaded it. I also drew the two eyes, shaded the area around the left eye and then shaded the nostrils.

Step 3
I drew the top level of the kid's hair, giving it the shape of an afro hairstyle. I drew the ear and marked the position of the neck. Lastly, I mark the position of the undergrown hair on the forehead.

Step 4
I shaded the black eyelids and drew the eyebrow. I shaded the, top of the eye, the nose and the lips of the kid.

Step 5
I shaded the hair on the kid's head giving it the afro style.

Step 6
I shaded the face of the kid from the forehead down to the lower jaw and the back of the ear.

Step 7
I drew the shirt worn by the kid. I started with the collar, followed by the back of the shirt, the shoulder and the front of the shirt.

Step 8
I shaded the neck and shirt of the kid which brought me to the end of the drawing.
