The Diary Game: Recovery From Malaria/ Enjoying My Rest At Home 04-03-2025

Hola my friends, @florencep here again and I am back sound and healthy unlike yesterday that I was bedridden. Thank you to the moderator that wished me quick recovery, so let me just tell you about my day please.......

As early as 4am, I woke up because I was sweating, the malaria medication I took the previous night really worked and I regained back myself, I was happy so I used the bathroom to freshen up and then prepared some stuffs for my customer's order.

I did that till 8am, then I was done and was craving to drink pineapple juice, I took a pineapple from the fridge and peeled it, used part to make the juice while I ate some.

I kept some for my siblings whole I took the remaining to my room to go drink it. I really did not have much to do today. I was just inside my room taking sips at intervals and was enjoying the morning cold while sipping my pineapple juice.

When I was done with taking the juice, I was so hungry, it felt like the juice was more of an appetizer for me. I went back to the kitchen to see if there was anything in the freezer and luckily there was small soup, I defrosted it and then warmed it and ate it for breakfast.

After eating, I took my bath and it was time to have my quiet time with God, I took this daily devotional (Open Heavens) I do read anytime I want to have my morning devotion or quiet time with God. I read this and prayed till 11am then I was a bit dizzy so I decided to go back to bed.

I was asked to rest throughout the week so I wasn't going to step out by the way so this week is between me and my bed. I slept till afternoon then I woke up and went to the bathroom and took my bath, ate and took my medication then came to the sitting room and then began to read these comic books, it's been a while I kept myself entertained with comic books.

When I finished with comic books, it was already pass mid day approaching evening so I quickly called my sales girl to know how the market was moving and she assured me everything was okay and under control, i had to send her some money for food because she has really been trying.

When it was finally evening, I prepared noodles and scrambled egg then took it with bottle of coca-cola drink. I am so giving myself a special treat because it has been a while I took this much rest and before I resume my work I will just be adding weight.

When I finished eating, I took the plates back to the kitchen and washed them then took my bath and came out to the sitting room to watch movie, this is me recovering big time from malaria and I am glad I am recovering all.
