Ideas for Art Storage

I have a new space Im getting and want to know if anyone has any ideas on how to build cheap storage i dont have to install. Currently im thinking of doing wood and painting it but im wondering if there is a cheaper option. I want to build it because i want the space to be exactly what i need for each thing, so im not going to just buy something from the store.
