Hello Steemian friends!
I am here again with a great competition, as you know, the 5th week of the Steem Challenge Season 26 is going on. This week I am happy to participate here, the topic of the competition is A favourite sports or leisure facility. So I have decided to go to the Jatrabari Wapda Colony Playground as the playground.

How to reach the Jatrabari Wapda Colony Playground?

You will come to Jatrabari from anywhere in Bangladesh, after getting off at the Jatrabari intersection, walk for three to four minutes on Dhaka-Mawa Road, and on your left you will see a main gate, then a little further ahead is the Water Development Board office, where there is another gate. If you enter through the first gate, then you have to walk straight ahead, then you will see a huge playground on your right. However, entry is prohibited for the general public, because this is a residential area where many people live, including government officials and employees. Especially the Bangladesh Army is stationed here.

This playground has been built for a long time, everyone, young and old, can play here. Since the field is very large, it is open to the public. It was established about 20-25 years ago. Usually, the boys of this colony area play more here, but in the afternoon, some people from outside come and play here and leave as soon as the evening falls. Because (for outsiders) there is no opportunity to stay in this field after the evening. The authorities have built a huge field in the reserved area.

Cricket is played in this playground, football is played, during the season, volleyball, racket games and other such sports are played. Tournaments are often played here, the names of all the tournaments that participate here are drawn on the wall with a logo, which I am presenting.

If I have to talk about the seating arrangement and cleanliness, then I will say this! I did not see any unclean place in the entire place, in a word, it can be said that it is very clean and tidy inside the field and all around. Although no gallery has been built here to sit, it is expected that they will build a gallery at some point according to their plan. However, they have arranged chairs all around for sitting, which are kept in a reserved room for storing their sports equipment.

Talking about the environment, I would say that by now you have understood through my photos how beautiful the natural environment is here. People come from different parts of Dhaka to this field and enjoy walking around in the natural environment and watching sports. And there is no additional fee to enter here, because it is not an international standard stadium, so you can enter here for free.

And this field is open to everyone from morning to evening, but no outsider can stay in this field after evening. There is no weekly closure system, but government officials organize more sports on the weekly closure days. All in all, this field is in a state of play almost every day. Which brings a lot of joy. If a gallery could be built around this field in a small space, it would be more visible and more people would be interested in coming here to watch the game.

There is a boundary along the four sides of this field, although there is a wall on one side and there are no walls on the other sides, there is a crease in the middle of the field for playing cricket, which is covered with a tarpaulin because if it gets wet in the rain, it will become muddy and you will not be able to play later, so it has been repaired and covered. On one side of the field, I saw a crease leveling machine. The crease is leveled with that.

There is a large and beautiful Jama Masjid on the south side of the field, an important place for the teams playing in the field and the spectators watching the tournament, as soon as the call to prayer is given, they can pray there and return to the field as spectators.
