The Diary Game // 17th, September 2026 // "Too Many Events at A Day"

My fellow Steemian’s,

Today I’m going to write a diary about 17-09-26. I hope everyone will enjoy my diary.

Raining

It was another working day, and as usual, after waking up I got ready & started my journey to the office. But that day was different because of the heavy rainfall. The roads were muddy, slippery, & full of traffic. Somehow after a hectic journey, I finally reached my office.

Around 2.00 PM, suddenly I got a call from my wife. I was told that she had a small accident at her workplace. She slipped on the hospital stairs & injured one of her fingers, & unfortunately, It was broken. I didn’t think twice & left the office as soon as possible.

I went straight to Shahbag, where my wife was at Bangladesh Medical University. After reaching there, I unexpectedly met one of my university friends, Mahfuz Arian. He is also an engineer, & his wife works at Bangladesh Medical university too. We hadn’t met almost 2/3 years, so it was really nice to see him again.

We sat together at the BMU canteen on the 4th floor & had some afternoon snacks. The place was surprisingly clean, quiet, & nicely decorated. It felt more like a small rooftop restaurant than a regular hospital canteen.

After spending sometime with Arian, my wife & I left for home by rickshaw. We reached home around 7.00 PM. After making sure my wife was settled at home, I went out again, this time towards the bata Signal.

After Celebration of Hasan's Party

Some of my university friends waiting there for a small celebration hosted by Hasan. Hasan recently got admission for a Ph.D. in Germany, & he is going to leave Bangladesh 0n 1st October 2026. So he arranged the party before leaving the country. We all spent the evening together, talking, eating, joking & having a lot of fun. The party continued until around 11.00 PM. After it ended, I started my journey back home & reached around midnight.

I took a nice bath, had my dinner & finally went to bed around 1.00 AM. It was a long & tiring day, but somehow it was also a memorable one with an unexpected accident, an old friend after years, & a farewell party for another friend starting a new chapter in Germany.
